Loulis Mills, with a sense of responsibility towards its fellow human beings and always remaining faithful to its commitment to be useful and beneficial to the wider society, stands in solidarity with the people affected by the war in Ukraine.
Following closely the dramatic events unfolding and in order to support the national mission of humanitarian aid to the victims of the war, the company in consultation with τhe Embassy of Ukraine in Greece, distributed 20 tons of flour for all purpose, which was loaded on Friday March 2022 with destination to Ukraine.
Also great was the response of Loulis Mills’ employees who voluntarily offered various items for our Ukrainian fellow citizens. Specifically, 2 pallets of basic necessities have already been sent to Poland and then, through humanitarian aid, will be sent to Ukraine.
In the context of the strategic Corporate Social Responsibility of Loulis Mills and guided by its non-negotiable values to support vulnerable social groups, it responded immediately to the appeal of the Embassy of Ukraine. Ms. Olga Manou, Corporate Communications & Sustainability Director during the delivery of the material noted, among other things, stated that "human support and solidarity must not cease to exist, at a time when it is difficult for all of us and becomes more difficult due to the war. That is why we must be close to the people of Ukraine and support the innocent citizens as best we can. "
