1. WHO WE ARE
We are "LOULIS FOOD INGREDIENTS COMPANY", a Greek company based in the Municipality of Almyros, Municipal District of Sourpi Prefecture of Magnesias (Limenas Loulis). We are one of the longest-standing Greek companies that is constantly evolving and adapting to the new needs that arise in the field of the flour industry. We operate in Greece with two state-of-the-art production units in Sourpi and Keratsini, occupying the first place in the Greek flour industry in terms of milling, sales and technology.
2. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU?
2.1. Full name / Company name. We collect the first and last names of our customers and the names of our customers' contact persons when they express interest in our services or sign up for our newsletter or participate in our contests and promotions actions.
2.2. Email address (email). We collect the email address of our customers and customer contacts when they express interest in our services or when they sign up for our newsletter or participate in our contests and promotions.
2.3. Postal address. We collect our customers' home or business address for billing purposes.
2.4. Other contact information. We collect other contact information, such as the phone number of our customers or customer contact persons, to provide our products and services better and faster.
2.5. Pricing details. We collect the information of our customers that is necessary for the invoicing of our services, such as, for example, the VAT number and tax office.
2.6. Photographic and/or audio-visual material. We collect participant photos and/or videos produced during all of our events, conferences and/or seminars.
2.7. We try to minimize the risk to your rights and freedoms by not collecting sensitive personal data about you.
3. HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We collect your personal data when you express your interest in our products and services and contact us, when we enter into a contractual relationship for the provision of our products and services, when you visit our website and fill out the contact form as well as when you participate in all kinds of our events, conferences and/or seminars. We do not sell your personal data to anyone and only share it with third parties who facilitate the provision of our services to you.
4. HOW DO WE USE (PROCESS) YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
4.1. Serving our customers. Being in the business of flour production and marketing, we have an excellently organized sales network in order to serve our customers.
4.2. Marketing and/or promotional activities, such as participation in contests or promotion and publicity of our activities in company brochures, websites, social media as well as any other promotional means or emails that we send periodically to those who have subscribed to our newsletter. In the list of people we send newsletters to, we may also add those who give us their email addresses during our communication and who tell us that they wish to receive newsletters. In each newsletter, the recipient is given the opportunity to declare that he does not wish to receive any more newsletters from us. Further and based on the customer relationship between us, we may contact you by phone and/or email, for the purposes of conducting a customer satisfaction survey in the context of continuous improvement of our products and services provided.
5. LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
5.1. The processing of your personal data for the provision of our services to you is based on the conclusion and execution of a contract or - at your request - on preparatory actions for the conclusion and execution of a contract.
5.2. The processing of your personal data for marketing and/or promotional purposes is based on your consent.
5.3. In some cases the processing of your personal data is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests or for the purposes of our compliance with national and/or European legislation.
6. RETENTION TIME OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
6.1. We keep your personal data for as long as our business relationship lasts. We retain the personal data of our customers and consumers for at least fifteen (15) years in order to be able to fulfill our obligation to keep accurate records for tax or other administrative authorities.
6.2. We retain the personal data of the persons who registered for our newsletters (and/or promotional actions) until these persons declare to us that they no longer wish to receive newsletters and/or promotional material from us.

7. GUARANTEES WE TAKE TO PROTECT YOUR DATA
When you give us your personal data, we take steps to ensure that it is kept secure. In order to protect your personal data, we take physical, technical and organizational measures to protect it. We update and review the security technology we use on an ongoing basis. We limit access to your personal data to only those employees who need to know that data in order to provide services to you. In addition, we educate employees on the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the privacy and security of your personal data. Among other things, we have implemented the following technical and organizational measures and procedures to protect your personal data from any loss, alteration, illegal processing or alteration:

8. WHEN AND HOW DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH OTHERS?
In the context of our activities, companies of our interests may also have access to your personal data. In addition, we use third party providers who provide services on our behalf. Thus, we may need to share your personal data with them. However, we only share your personal data with them that is necessary to provide the services we ask them to and we require them to protect your data and not use it for other purposes. The personal data we collect from you is stored in one or more databases hosted by third parties located within the European Union. These third parties do not use or access your personal data for any purpose other than cloud storage and retrieval.
Such providers are also external organizations for predicting future trading behavior and assessing creditworthiness in order to protect financial credit and reduce bad debts.
In the context of entering into contracts with prospective clients, during the execution of these contracts and of our business activities in general and with the aim of protecting financial credit and reducing uncertainties, we transmit customer details to TEIRESIAS S.A.
In order to safeguard our legal interests and with the aim of safeguarding commercial credit, preventing financial crimes and the reliability and security of transactions, we pass on the details of our customers (not consumers) to Credit Rating Organizations, such as ICAP GROUP Sociedad Anonyme (ICAP). In the context of ICAP's legal interests and for the same purposes as above, ICAP maintains a file ("ICAP Database") with data on financial and transactional behavior collected from legal sources (courts, mortgage offices, G.E.MH.). 9. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to request access to your personal data, which we process. In addition, you have the following rights:
9.1. Right to rectification or erasure (in certain cases) of your personal data.
9.2. Right to restrict the processing or object to the processing of your personal data.
9.3. Right (subject to conditions) to obtain your personal data for use elsewhere.
9.4. In cases where we process your personal data based on your consent, you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing for the period before the withdrawal of your consent.
Finally, you have the right to submit a complaint to the competent Greek independent authority, which is the Personal Data Protection Authority (http://www.dpa.gr/).
10. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA (EEA)
The personal data we collect from you is not transferred or processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
