Christmas Cake with Self Raising Flour

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 gr. Farin Up (Self-raising flour)
  • 625 gr. sugar
  • 625 gr. soft margarine
  • 19 eggs
  • 100 gr. glucose
  • 300 gr. honey
  • 10 gr. baking powder
  • lemon & orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon cloves

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Beat the sugar with the margarine on high speed until fluffy. Slowly add the eggs
  2. Then slowly add the glucose and the honey until the dough is a homogeneous mixture. Lastly, add the sifted flour with the baking powder and the lemon-orange zest, the cinnamon and the cloves
  3. Fill the baking tins with the mixture and bake at 170°c-180°c for 40-45’
  4. When it is cooled down, sprinkle with icing sugar
