Melomakarona (Honey Biscuits)


  1. Using the paddle attachment, mix all the ingredients together, except for the flours, for 5 minutes
  2. Add the flours and mix slowly for a short period of time until the dough is homogenized
  3. Mold into small oval pieces and press lightly on the wire rack
  4. Bake at 180-200°C for 20-24 minutes. As soon as they come out of the oven, drop them in the cold syrup
  5. Drizzle over the honey and sprinkle with chopped walnuts
  6. For the syrup:Boil all ingredients together for 10 minutes and add the vanilla, 100 gr. brandy, 250 gr. honey and stir well
